Something epic just happened haha.
Its like 10.30pm at nite...i was watching movie on my com...when my brother suddenly shouted my name like some banshee. i always hated this part when he shouts my name. Cus a few years ago we would probably be fighting now or smt. But i guess things are different now la. Okay back to the shouting. So i went downstairs. Apparently theres this bird...idk wad bird la. Just a black bird with red bloodshot eyes. Its trapped in a net hanging over the balcony just outside the window. Quite an epic scene. I mean u dun get birds hanging right outside your window on a net everyday rite. I think the net is put up there by my dad one. Idk why la. dun ask mi.
Anw. My brother was like jumping around cus hes scared of birds one. Kinda reminds mi of him running away from chickens and birds and stuffs when we were young. And now he just hum at least 2 - 3 metres away. Oh and his friend is there too. So his friend and i started cutting the net trying to free the bird. But that bird is in such deep shit it doesnt even know where's up or down. The net is practically everywhere. the leg pinned to the beak. And only one wing can flap.
Then we started cutting and cutting. But its hard to reach your hand out and behind the window. and trying to cut the line...not the leg...or poke the eye. But we eventually cut it until its hanging by one line with all limbs free. All we had to do was to cut the last line and hopefully...hopefully...it flies and not smash its way into the ground 8 floors down.
I got to cut it. Wah it was such a tense moment. I know i know...its just a bird. But i don't exactly feel good if i were to kill it. Anw i cut the line.
Silence...
Then we were wondering where the hell the bird is...or is it already in hell.
Oh there it is. one small black patch on the pavement 8 floors down. Great.
Of course we went down to check lar. I was almost certain its dead ler la. I mean i dont even think i can jump 8 stairs down without saying some vulgarity at the end. And the bird fell 8 stories. Even though we freed all its limbs.
Its alive. Miraculously. Wah next time i wanna be a bird man. I mean next life. Then i dont have to be careful when im not on the first floor haha.
But the bird still have quite alot of nets around its wing. Its like totally wedged into the wing la. U cant really see where the lines are going. Its that deep. Can only see random lines showing itself here and there.
Aiya so we removed all the net and stuff. But the bird still cant fly. I don't blame it lol. I mean it just went for an 8 floor rollercoaster ride all the way down. BAM. Ah its still downstairs now. I shall see if its still there tmr mrn. Hope it flies away.
I realised that somehow, this is the first time that i am actually doing something fun in a way with my brother. Im not exactly close to him or what la. But afterall he is still my brother. And it was fun la. Even though he was acting ballless and humming like crazy with the bird around. But it was nice to do something with my brother for once.
And i better ask my dad to remove that bloody net on the balcony roof. Nowonder they say nets in sea will trap fishes and sharks and dolphins etc. Its so easy to get caught. And all it takes is just panic to entangle the creature even deeper into the net.
Now i shall get back to my movie yeps. woots. good day good day.
